The logo of the Ministry of Commerce is a symbol of China sent out to the world. As it represents the Ministry of Commerce at international trade institutions, the message of the logo is very important. Dongdao wanted to give the design an international look and a feeling of international trade and cooperation - but also build the bridge to the domestic market. The main function of the logo is to communicate. It has to reflect the responsibility and credibility of the Ministry of Commerce and stand for economic interaction. Dongdao`s solution is pleasing in a simple way. In order to stress the harmony of the four equal graphics, Dongdao decided not to use too much colour.

Moreover, Dongdao gave the Ministry of Commerce advise on how to introduce and establish the logo. When launching a new visual identity it is very important to inform the client in detail how to position the logo in order to get the most benefit out of it.
