The Inaugural Meeting of Hunan Artists of Design Association Digital Media Art Committee of 2008 Took Place

From June 21st to June 22nd, 2008, the “Inaugural Meeting of Hunan Artists of Design Association Digital Media Art Committee of 2008″ that was “Wacom Digital Art Seminar” took place in Xiangtan University. The sponsor of this Seminar is Hunan Artists of Design Association, and the organizers are Xiangtan University, Changsha Guohe Technology Co., Ltd. and Xiangtan Artists of Design Association. The major idea of this seminar is to discuss the development of subject and teaching methods about the domain of digital media art, such as cartoon, comic and animation, games and so on; to strengthen the information communication and resource integration between universities in Hunan; to discuss the talent training on the professional field of cartoon and digital media art; to link up the talent training between universities and companies; and to provide an information communication platform for the new idea, new tendency and new technology in the professional field of cartoon and digital media art. The host of this seminar is Mr. Zhu Heping, the vice-chairman of Hunan Artist of Design Association. Besides, the distinguished guests are the principals of universities and digital enterprises, including the vice-president of Xiangtan University Mr. Chen Xiaoming, the vice-president of Art Institute of Xiangtan University Mr. Li Qing, the vice-dean of Design Department of Arts Institute of Hunan Normal University Professor Wang Jianrong, the dean of Animated cartoon Department of Pack design Institute of Hunan University of Technology Professor Wang Jianmin, the vice-president of Art of Design Institute of Changsha University of Science and Technology Professor Wen Hua, the dean of Animated cartoon Department of Changsha Normal University Ms. Li Ruomei, teacher Zeng Xin of Art Institute of Central South University and other tens of qualified teachers of universities.
