Tsinghua University held “Made in Brunel” exhibition

Department of Industry Design of Tsinghua University held an exhibition of design works for participating in Brunel’s design competition in UK from June 25 - June 29. Exhibition at the Room B406 exhibited 14 pieces of works created by the Grade 06 - 08 undergraduates over the past three years together.
“Made in Brunel”, a design exhibition supported by Hong Kong Shanghai Banking Corporation, developed on the bace of the exhibitions of graduates works of Brunel university . In 2006, our academy, was only the one foreign institute, invited to participate in their activity at that time. 2007, Brunel university invited IIT Madras institute, India, TU Delft university, Holland, and Rhode Island Design College, U.S.A., three famous institutes to join in. The exhibition becomes a good platform for exchanges among the design institutes from different countries. Through exchanging, it widens the students’ visual field and let them realize their own advantages and deficiency as well.

2 teachers and 6 graduate students from Department of Industry Design were chosen for for participating in ” Made in Brunel ” Exhibition in UK from June-12.
This exhibition, sponorred by Hong Kong Shanghai Banking Corporation, was run by Brunel University .Besides our acadey , Brunel University also invited IIT Madras Institute, India, TU Delft University, Holland, and College of Rhode Island Design , U.S.A, three design institutes to join in. Sheng Fi, and Zou Zhidan, graduate students from the Department of Industry Design, won the grand prizes for their works of ” BLIND ASSIST ” which they designed for the blind persons and the toy ” MAZO ” at the exhibition of this year.
