Shanghai Multimedia Park
July 7, 2008 – 9:53 pmShanghai Multimedia Park is the first high-tech park characterized by digital media industry in Shanghai. Under guidance and support of Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality and Government of Changning District, Shanghai, it was established by Shanghai Xinchangning Group in 2002. The park has persisted in the developmental direction of the digital media industry and conglomerated various domestic and international key enterprises in the field of movie cartoon, broadband multimedia application and multimedia display. Moreover, World Top 500 enterprises like DELL, Accenture and LG and industrial institutions like Shanghai Multimedia Industry Association and Asian Arts Science Society have been settled in the park. Up till 2007, the park has clustered over 380 enterprises and contributed a tax of 360 million Yuan (RMB). Through years of development, the park has obtained achievements in infrastructure construction, industrial cluster, functional creation and brand effect and obtained extensive social recognition. In 2005 and 2006 respectively, it has been granted the titles of “National Digital Technology Industry Base” and “National Demonstration Base for Cultural Industry”.

Zhaofeng Plaza, main body of Shanghai Multimedia Park, is located in the central belt of Changning District, Shanghai. Adjacent to Zhonshan Park and located at the converging point of Huichuan Road and Changning Road, it has 42 floors in total and a height of 159m. Office zone occupied 7th Floor to 42nd Floor. There are attachments of business club, delivery restaurant, coffee bar, high-grade electronic meeting room, underground garage and building roof helicopter apron. The auxiliary buildings comprise Multimedia Life Square and Modern Universe Business Plaza. Multimedia Life Square is located at the converging point of Huichuan Road and Changning Road. It has the 6-floor plane structure and the main building is 30m high, with a 19m-high mid-court shared space.
Kaixuan Road Corridor used to expand the area is composed of many projects including Creative River, Creative Headstream, Bainaotong Digital City, Crystal Digital Center and Creative River. The area exceeds 33000 square meters and each project has formed distinctive functional positioning.
