China’s Second Industrial Design Park To Settle in Shunde

More and more product similarity results in less and less profit and cost raising. How to deal with that situation? At Shunde Insustrial Design and Creative Industry Development Summit Forum, Li Yuguang, vice president of State Intellectual Property Bereau, give theropies to attendant enterprises. He stressed that enterprises should adopt industrial design as main and creative method to participate in global competitions. He also pointed out that many enterprises in Guangdong relied on sale strategy and low price in international trade, while they would have to adopt industrial design as important creative method.

Li Yuguang introduced that Guangdong’s external appearance patent applications kept the leading role around the country all the time. Up to May 31 this year, Guangdong’s external appearance patent applications totaled 295,921 cases, steadily ranking the first nationwide. The figure achieved 17486 within Shunde district only, with the grand total amount of its applications ranks the first nationwide for more than 10 years among its same grade.

Li Yuguang also told that China’s second industiral design park would settle in Shunde, while the first high-tech park with the topic of industrial design founded in Wuxi at the year of 2004.

A leader of Shunde Science and Technology Bereau introduced that the industrial design park would be devided to 7 industrial parks, including those for creative design, industrial design industry incubation, furniture design and industrialization, clothes design, home appliance design industrialization, precise-moulding design industrialization, and cultural creative industry. Among them, the first phase of creative design industry park, which is invested by Shunde Shun-Bo Electrical and Mechanical Group, will be laid its foundation on July 26 at Shunde Fengxiang industrial park.
