2008 the 3rd Design Festival of China (Dalian) to Held in September

Following 2006 the 1st Design Festival of China (Qingdao) and the 2nd Design Festival of China (Beijing), 2008 the 3rd Design Festival of China (Dalian) will be held in Dalian, China’s fashion capital, during the period of September 24 – 26, 2008. The activities will be organized by Dalian municipal government and China Guanghua Science and Technology Foundations.

China Design Festival, marked DDF, is trying to be an exhibition window of China’s design industry, a showing stage for the design talents, a bridge for design information exchange, and an engine for design industry promotion. It is also trying to set up a global service platform for international design, provide domestic designers, foreign designers, design firms and enterprise organizations with an opportunity of a face-to-face communication. The Festival will present the highest level and exhibit the latest achievements in contemporary international design field, calling for self-renovation by design and accelerating China’s design industry.

The 3rd Design Festival of China will present excellent continuable design works from around the world, host summit forums with the topic of design and investment, and grant the China Design Award(an award for international cooperation).
During the session, famous design associations, schools of design, institutes of design research, together with government officials, experts and elites from enterprises will gather around and enjoy the grand festival. Let’s hear the essence of design within a close reach.
