Social Energy – A Series of Contemporary Dutch Design Communication Activities Holding at Chengdu

Social Energy – a series of contemporary Dutch design communication activities started at Xu Liaoyuan Modern Design Museum in Chengdu on September 20, 2008. Activities at this venue comprise two parts: the works exhibition and the forum. The works exhibition will last till October 5. The forum will be held on October 21. The audiences are mainly designers as well as teachers and students from design colleges. Among them who participate in the activities, Wang Qiang, a student from Chongqing Normal University, claimed: “I benefited a lot from these activities by take a close look at Dutch design that represents the highest level. There are up to 11 companies, among which Studio Dumbar has a history of 30 years and NLXL, a design studio at Hague, Netherlands, shows their impressive vanguard design”. This series of activities will continue holding also at Shanghai and Shenzhen(more info.).
