Shantou University Cheung Kong School of Art and Design(CKAD), previously known as the Art College, was established in 2003 under pioneering reformation and innovative program restructuring
Shandong University of Art and Design is situated in the historically famous city, Ji’nan. Nearby to the south is Mount Tai, and to the north is Yellow River. Currently, there are two campuses, one is on the foot of Thousand Buddha Mountain near the downtown, and the other is located in the university town on the edge of Ji’nan.
The Design College was originated from “Graphic Group” of the South China Art School. Then South China Art School was renamed as the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts (GAFA)
